I am glad all was well with the mammo...I just hate going to the doctor for about anything because it never seems to fail that there has to be something evasive. While I love touch as much or more than the next person, I like to have control over it.

Is your husband's eye better now? The man on the left was not my husband (he has a ponytail, I should draw him!) but another man who waited there with his young son. But you are right, it is frightening to have or to have the impression to have taken the control away. I had that today while I had wait to do the obligatory mammographie, which always makes me sweat, and I was so thankful afterwards cause everything was ok...in fact it's exactly what you say, we don't feel in control anymore...very scary.
Thanks so much for your analyzing capacities:)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12602563148936673366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1700412250463044349.post-30947606711760911142008-09-03T17:59:00.000+02:002008-09-03T17:59:00.000+02:00Oh Gee Andrea! It did look terrible, but after some time all was well. I had to smile, too, because I can just imagine what was going on as you had to sit there with your husband. Let's say I don't envy you that, either.

I love these drawings as you have captured both your husband (correct, on the left?) and the man and his daughter. It is a frightening thing to be in an environment which is not only strange, but which sometimes takes the control away (at least in our own minds). You sure captured their expressions well...concern and protector!

Thanks Andrea!Andrea and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15337904921232330088noreply@blogger.com
