I have been captured by Elizabeth's ongoing drawing project, it is all about drawing blindfolded, right or left handed, upside down and by touch...
Elizabeths also draws and paints strong Dalmatians and Bulldogs , dreamy landscapes and delicate blueberries, crazy cafetières and colourful trouts and you can see it all on her blog!
It is funny to find out that my hands have their own brain...especially the left one...
These are the blindfolded left- and righthand sketches of mortar and pestel. I think I will try to use brush and colour next time!

I like these drawings. A sense of freedom coming from using the non-dominant hand and not looking. Havent done any artwork since moving but am working on cleaning up the workshop to create a space for myself.
These are great sketches, full of life, randomness and the essence of the object... well done you. It IS fun isn't it, so liberating!
Thanks for the UBER-COOL mention on your blog, I'm truely honoured and delighted, thank you!
Ma fille a un bulldog anglais , incroyable ce que ce chien est humain ...il s'intéresse et participe à toutes les activités humaines dans la maison et ne se sent pas du tout concerné par une activité de chien de garde !!
Hi Andrea.
I couldn't find your e-mail so I respond here. Dryer sheets (what I used to make the leaves) are white cellulous sheets about 8x10 inches that have scent on them and make your clothes and sheets and towels smell nice and feel softer when they come out of the clothes dryer. Thanks for visiting my blog. Come back again!!
