They are friends & the little guy is comforting his friend who is sad because he is different & feeling insecure about it, but the little guy comforting him is telling him we are all different in our own ways & that's what makes us all so unique & loved.

The man on the right is telling lies to the lady as look at his nose its still growing and l know his name begins with a p but cannot spell it and there is no spelling help here.
But the lady has heard a lot of stories about him and there not good but he is saying nice things to her so she is thinking shall l believe him, my friends were not right as l like him but another voice in her head keeps saying ' think think before you throw your sence and thoughts away.

Bonjour Andrea,

I got your message....Sorry for my long silence.
I have not been able to paint for a while.
In a few weeks construction workers are coming to tear down part of the house. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom were constructed without foundation and the floor is collapsing. Hum.....Lovely old house though. They will gut that part of the house, build a foundation and it will be sturdy by the winter.

I have been looking for new kitchen cabinets etc.....
Since I don't like shopping I am getting lots of headaches :)

I have been thinking a lot about you...I hope that you are well.
Don't worry about the money for Snoopy. I'll buy one of your painting in a bit... :)

Take care and I'll talk to you soon.

Love,
Danielle

They are very precious...

I think this is a tender moment. The person on the right has just told the one on the left s(he) will be together forever.

I Love This!

I love that you see tenderness in the blotch. (And we are the same 'vintage" you and I, if your photo from the early sixties is any indication. :)

Danielle, thanks so much for being in touch, wow, it sounds as if you were awfully busy with that house, and I know how upsetting these "disturbances" can be when all you want to do is paint in peace:) - Good luck with the kitchen cabinets, and have a lovely weekend! Say hello to the Kitty

Andrea, I was born in 1957 and I think I must have been 4 or 5 on that picture:)
The blotches, I don't know but I think it is the watercolours that make me see tenderness everywhere, the colours are so soft and yet intense...

Wurzerl!!!!!

Ach was, hättich, wärich, würdich,
WÜRG...!
HAb ein schönes Wochenende:)
