Metroheads and the big draw N° 9: "lefties"

Calling all my friends over.
Metro really crowed today over.
Squeezed in but happy to be seated over. .
With the big draw you can't just sit there and do nothing over.
Did left-hand (my non dominant hand) drawings over.
Had much fun over.
When squeezed, use left hand over.
What strikes me as funny is that they all look as if someone had sewn theirs mouths shut over.

Hope you are having a great Thursday over.
P.S. The soiled rug (see the big draw 7) is like new over.
More tomorrow over:)

How funny. I posted today drawings done w/the right hand (non-dominant hand for me) and also w/eyes closed.

It is fun to use the other hand.

Enjoy your drawing so much. Freer it seems.

Okay Andrea, you have convinced me...I am going to do a drawing (Kim style) with my left hand (non-dominant) today. I do lots of things with that hand, normally, but have the most control with my right. I am sure I couldn't get this great sketch, though, even with my right hand!

I think it is a good idea to use your non-dominant hand from time to time. As my first grade teacher told me (when she was teaching me to read)it balances your brain. And apparently a recent study said it also keeps you healthier as you age...forget where I read that, though.

Glad the rug is like new - under! :)

Fabulous work as always Andrea! over and under

Thanks!

Kim oh yes this is great, I'll look forward to your non dominant hand drawings:) You know, I think it really frees us cause then we can blame the mess on the non dominant hand (poor little thing!) and this makes us FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE, yupeeeeeeeeeee

Andrea

You couldn't draw poorly if you tried, Andrea.

Even left handed you do great work. sigh. :)
How did you get the rug clean? More details please...Happy for you.
Over and out. :))

It's funny how each hand draw a different picture, kinda like asking someone for a description, then another who describes it a different way, but same thing.
Peace, KAi

Andrea, I have spent some time today exploring drawing with my left hand today. Clearly there are challenges, but it was great fun. I also agree with you that it is VERY FREEING! I will post some of these little doodles tomorrow.

Thanks Andrea!

Cris, husband turned the carpet onto it's other side:) the colour hadn't run though!

Kai, that is a wonderful way to describe the process and it's exactly what I feel when I draw like that:) how funny:)

soulbrush, LOL; I had to look in the dictionnary to find out what dour is! Thanks for the new vocabulary!
Oh yes and they really look dour often on the métro, I can tell:) (I try to have the "inner smile" on my lips, it makes me feel good, but don't always succeed though,
