Metroheads - Two Worried Souls

TWO WORRIED SOULS in my notebook.

The Woman with the cell phone: I see the cell phone when the hand is already drawn , I haven't noticed that she is actually having a phone-conversation ....she says nothing, just listens. To what, I wonder. She looks worried and tired, attentive though.

The little brown-white dog: His owner puts him between his feet, protectively, and he (the dog) doesn't move too much cause he is a little bit worried about all this strange and loud metro-noise and all the people. All of a sudden the metro starts to HOOOOOOOOOT !!, (doesn't happen very often) oh now THAT makes him panic!!!! His "Daddy" tries to calm him down but it takes a while, I'm glad that I draw him BEFORE the hooting:)

These are both wonderful, with a lot of lovely details. The woman looks like she is pressing a sore head. the doggie on the Metro! So sweet. Good luck getting your show in order.

Hi Andrea, (I always want to say Andy,,,had a friend with your name who we always called Andy)

They eyes of this little guy tell a lot.You can see the nervousness.
Very expressive.
Really nice drawings,,,great rendering of the lady's scarf.

I love this woman, how the scarf drapes over her head and shoulders, I see it as soft, and her hands and bag...and her expression, all wonderfully drawn Andrea.
The dog is well done too. sorry he has such a scare.

PS not sure I've said how much I like your new banner. Very Retro looking.

Great expressive drawings. I didnt know they allowed dogs on the metro. you caught his worried look very well.
HOpe your getting everything done for your show in Germany. Did you get yours back from your Hubbys work place? Will those go to Germany too?

Hi Andrea, you know I am so in love with your Metroheads...even when they are doggie heads! :)

You have truly captured these two very well. As always the drawing is fabulous and the story starters are fantastic to be sure. Like others, I also love the way you have shown the scarf.

Thanks Andrea!

Haha, I do the same with my dog in a loud or strange environment. As always, I enjoy people watching from your perspective.

i feel so sorry for dogs on the metro/underground...they must be affected by the pressure under the earth too, these are great. i just haven't had time to comment on everyone's blogs every day this month, but your stuff is awesome and will always be. i am going to link you to my 'see every day' site so that i can visit more often, hugs.
