Intersting technique. Did you do the quick sketch on the metro and then add the rest later?
You never fun out of ideas.
Hows the show things coming along? Have you almost gotten things done and ready to go?

Cris, I just love this: I never fun out of ideas:) lovely!
thanks for commenting and this one I sketched entirely on the metro, I wanted to see what it does, all these strokes, and find that the bodies really looks voluminous. I have a book "drawing not only for architects", hadn't had a look into this for almost two years, and discovered sketches of "strokedrawings" of Paul Klee in there, very interesting. He was doing research on lines, and what lines can do, just a few or a bunch of it, very inspiring. Paul Klee is another one of those painters, I discovered when I was very young, I always loved his aquarells and oil paintings too. Delicate lines and strokes.
So, oh my god, inspirations is everywhere, in books, on the internet, outside in the fields, in the metro and in the streets, in the house and in the head:) Don't know where to look sometimes:)

The show: everything is packed and ready, except the earringmask, which is not finished at all, lies under the bed and waits for me to be inspired and in the mood to take it out and finish it. I don't know why, I'm not ready...well, I have some more days...(this is a joke, I'LL NEVER HAVE IT READY) we leave next Friday, so...
love
Andrea

Superb drawing you posted today. I like it!
OT: Here in La Palma we have a lot of German residents, so I have a lot of German friends here. I speak some German but writing it is something else!

Wim, hi, thanks for the nice comment on my drawing and oh, I find it so admirable that almost every Dutch speaks German but we don't speak Dutch:) With the Dutch language and me it is the other way round, I understand some when I read it but when you speak it, I am lost:)
have a great weekend
Andrea
PS, Your pictures show us why people like to live on that island, what a paradise

I love your experiment with effecting volume through lines like this. I have loved Paul Klee for years, ever since I was a child and I still have a little book of his reproduced paintings I had in high school but am not sure that i have seen his line drawings like this.

May you have the best show ever, it sounds so wonderful and exciting. A big event, all your friends and relations will come and admire your creativity and inventiveness. I hope you sell a lot too and receive all kinds of acknowledgment and love. Take care, suki
