I'm convinced -- if you had nothing else to do and you had a paintbrush in your hand 24 hours a day -- you WOULD create amazing art 24 hours a day!

Andrea, this painting so so very beautiful. I really love your feel for movement. I am thinking this is your input into your art...MOVEMENT! If you think about it the textiles show a lot of movement, Metroheads clearly show movement, the angel painting you have in your exhibit shows a lot of movement and now this painting! I think "Tango" is the most incredible show of movement, so far. I also adore the colors you have chosen for this movement...they are incredibly warm and appealing!

This is truly breathtaking!

Love,

Kim PS Super Header, Andrea!

Dianne, thanks for your comment, and I saw this too only once the painting was finished, as often it happens:)

Martine, thank you, I thought you would like that, and think of putting pictures of Paris in the header would be nice for my friends:)

Cathie, :) thank you for this wonderful compliment, oh I wish I could do that (or would I go crazy?:)

Unknown said...

Heidi, thanks so much for visiting and I'll try to give you more pictures of Paris soon...

Genie:) Happy Xmas to you too! I would love some snow here but this does not happen:)

Kim, I love your comment cause I think you got a really nice thought there, and a true one too, cause I myself love movement in paintings, thinking of your light-lines on indigo ground too, which are so very much "movement"!
Thank you for this thought, it made my day!

New banner is marvelous. Makes me feel I am standing there under the clock. The painting too is so beautiful and full of life. I like what Kim says, the observation of movement in all your work. Also the usage of color at which you are so fabulous. this painting makes me want to get up and move. It makes me feel warm and alive. Cheers, Suki

Babs, thanks so much for your comment, you know, when I painted this, we had just celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday with 60 friends and family, so, you are quite right:) (Though, hélas, we did not dance Tange:)
