I dream of a walk along the beach

Gouache Studies on watercolor paper, 7.1 x 8.1 in / 18 x 20.5 cm
I am craving these colours, and feeling which arouse when looking at them. Water, summer, sand, rain, clouds, more sand and water, blue, grey, apricot, beige etc etc....Have a nice weekend,
love, Andrea

Oh YES.. these do evoke memories of the Beach. Lovely colors and movement. I can hear the water roaring back and forth. Now I am missing the Ocean.

Hi Cris, thanks for your comment, I hardly find the time anymore to reply to people's comment, but prefer to go and leave a little message on their blog, so that at the same time I can say hello hello and see what they are up to. Oh my, I'd love to be at the ocean, taking a long walk and just give all my thoughts to the wind:)
Don't know when I'll go there next, we are only about 2 and a half hour away from the sea, but never go there cause on weekends everybody goes:) ....
I bet you miss your Californian sea sometimes..

Sand and water, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm warst du schon im urlaub?
Wann und wohin gehst du?
Du müsstest einen menschenleeren strand finden oder warten bis zum winter?

You are so right, these colors do say beach sand and blue skies and blue ocean waves.

Well, I'm craving these colors, too. Thank you for painting them.

Really love the first painting - the colours are soothing and the loose brush strokes suggest swirling waters. Bye for now. Lesley

Busy, busy, busy, but able to go to the beach every day when I want to. It feels like every day is a holiday then. That.s when you live near the beach. Our holiday will take us to Denmark or Germany in september. But in summer we stay at home. Like you I have hardly time to follow yours and other blogs. Whish you all the best
greetings from Holland

Good day,
I also dream of the beach, and don't give myself a break. The ocean is less than 20 minutes away yet I never seem to arrive. Love these dreamscapes inspiring me to go to the beach. Not today though Thunder and Lightning is the forecast. Perhaps Monday. enjoy pjc
