Daisies and Colza in my Moleskine

I have some difficulties readapting myself to the city's ways. Have taken the metro and felt ill when getting off 35 minutes later. This time I find it hard to get back to the halftime job after two weeks vaccation spent outside. Heck, (love to use this word:) I want to be outside or in my studio.

Lovely flowers. Never heard of Colza. I do think it's hard to go from the freedom of vacation back into the routines of daily life. I don't blame you for wanting the less scheduled days. To be outside. I have spent a lot of time outside recently myself. And I never thought of myself as an "outdoor" person.

Go gently into the transition. Take care of you. Namaaste, Suki

Wonderful Moleskine work, Andrea! As always your watercolors are so delightful and intense.

I can imagine it is difficult to get back into the swing of things there at your part-time job and the city. If you could only have to re-adapt to one at a time, you know?

I agree with Suki..."go gently into the transition"...very good advice, I think.

Peace!

I know whatcha mean. I hate going back to work after having time off. Heck, I hate going back to work on MONDAYS even. I used to look forward to retirement, but now it's looking farther and farther away. Oh well, we'll just try to squeeze in the fun where we can, huh?

Of course you want to be outside, Andrea, but you lucky girl can paint yourself a garden.

Suki, thanks for your comment, it helps me get going again:)
Colza is better known as rape.

Kim, thanks so much and yes I have re adaptation problems, but today it is already a lot better. In the metro were less people, I sketched them and had fun cause one woman wanted to see her portrait, we laughed and it felt good to make friends for a second:)
Thanks for being there,
Andrea

Katie, thanks for your compassion:) oh today I find my yesterday self unthankful, cause in fact I have so much to be greatful for, your friendship and that of my blogfriends', I shouldn't be complaining. Today I feel better and ready to attack, (with pauses, as per the wise advice from Suki!)
love
Andrea

You make me want to get my watercolors out and have at it.
Yes coming back to reality so to speak does take some adjusting. Like merging into another lane.. slow and steady.
