There isn't really enough time to draw the Accordion player, I have about one minute and a half, then he turns 180 degrees (horizontal). Time enough to draw his lovely double-chin, he looks quite calm and serene. I like his play, his music, his accordion.
The Asian woman looking at the empty seat in front of her, difficult to say what she might be thinking right now, she looks tired though. Perhaps she is a bit late for an appointment or she's like me, she wonders what the heck should she have for lunch today? Sandwich or salad or Sushi?
The guy with the red shirt (this shirt in reality is grey but who wants a grey shirt?) is counting the dimes in his hand, or perhaps he is staring at the money so hard to make it double ?
The man with the suede jacket reads his book, but he looks around every other second (I hide my drawing eyes under my new pink NY Baseball-cap:) , it must be a chopped kind of reading.
Have a wonderful day,
love
Andrea

J'aime bien ces scènes de la vie... et la faculté d'en être le spectateur :)
Tu "croques" les gens en live ou après coup ? dis-moi ...
A moi de faire ma curieuse ...
Welcome Back
These colors are so soothing to the eyes. Yikes, I don't know if I want you to paint my portrait if you show the double chins. :) I can just hear the music playing. Glad you got your blog back.
Yippee! I am so glad you are back! Google needs to know how much we have missed you. What were they thinking?
Oh, I love these Metroheads...great drawings! You are right, who wants a gray shirt? And the lovely accordion player who brings joy to Metro riders! Ah, but the woman who is thinking about lunch....I will her to choose sushi...yummy!
I have some errands I need to run this morning, but will check back with Miss Doodle a little later...handbags? Mmmm, now this is something close to my heart! :)
Thanks Andrea...it is so beautiful to have you back! It is like "Andrea has her groove back!" :)
Genie, hi and thanks for visiting! I'm so happy to be able to blog here again, is that addiction?:)
Suki, you can't make me believe that you have a double-chin, but if, don't worry, I actually think that double-chins can look cute!:)
Kim thanks for your always wonderful comments, and: I had Suhsi today for lunch (and yesterday as I was too lazy to make myself some lunch!)
I think I'm addicted to blogging cause I was not in a good mood when I couldn't post here:)
love
Marigaz:) Je les croque vivants, les gens dans le métro, et je mets la couleur à la maison, tranquilement installer dans mon mini atelier:)
à bientôt
Andrea
Yippie Andrea is back with Accordion music to trumpeting her return. Go for Sushi and garnish the plate with ripe red tulips. Love the Metroportraits. Giving identities, stories to moments in time. enjoy pjc
Peter:) , had Sushi and green tea, but no juicy red tulips, sniff, can't find them here, they only exist at your place, I guess...
Well thank you Google blog people for letting our Andrea back on. Yeaaaaaa...Nice to have you back where you belong.
With another great sketching post.
We missed you here but we had you at least on Miss Doodles blog. She was kind enough to share it. :)
I had the best sushi when I was in Paris. It was a tiny little place in the 8th. My son and I went in the middle of the afternoon, so the place was empty. The people working were fabulous...spoke no English, so we did a lot of pointing and trying with the French!
Oh, thanks for reminding me of this lovely time about 2 years ago.
Chris, I'm glad to have this space back, I'm so used to it that I didn't like to post photos on MIss Doodle's site, where they have nothing to do:)
Now I feel better:)
Kim, this sushi address sounds great, you'll show me next time you'll come to Paris? :)
You must be a very fast sketcher Andrea! You bring the atmosphere to life. So good that you chose a red shirt instead of gray!
