One Minute? Amazing! You weld the pen quickly, my dear! Wow!

But these Metroheads are super, as always. Do you ever find it amazing how they can be so relaxed on a train with so many people around and all that stopping and starting?

I love these guys and I ADORE your work!

PS, posted your photo on my blog today :)

I love enlarging your photos and seeing the details. Your pen must have flown over the paper. You are SO SO SO talented Andrea! I can feel the life in your people.

I really love crosses and symbols of religion even though I am not religious in any formal way. This priest looks like he is either in deep contemplation or asleep. I echo Lynn, Andrea. You astound me with the forms and varieties of your talent. I am glad you are having the big show in Nov to showcase your work and the smaller? one in Oct for yourwatercolors. The world needs to discover you. When you are famous we can all huff on our nails and buff them on our shirts and say we knew you when.....

You are just so Good at this! If you every lost your day job you could just sit on the street corner with a can and do "Streeheads". Grin

I love how you capture the essence of the moment in only a moment.

Thanks so much for all you comments and insights!

@Kim: oh, I couldn't sleep on the metro, never!
@Lynn: That is a great compliment, thanks so much!
@Suki: I think this guy was just a "believer", not really a priest, but his cross sure was very big:) The show here in Paris is beginning end of this week and I only show three textile pieces there...
@Martine: thanks, the fastest the better cause then I have no time to think:)
@Katie Jane, I'll consider this in case...
@Cris you would do great sketches too, I think!
@Patti, thanks for your comment, I like the idea too, to see my sketches as a social commentary...
@Yvette, you are so right, and I experience this when I come to your blog! Glimpses on wonders:)
@Wurzerl, Überraschungsei:):), tja, ich glaube ich muss nun immer noch mehr Metro fahren, damit ich die Leute unter den Hüten einmal ohne Hut erwische:)
@Choule: It is the other way round: I'm afraid of them, that is why I only draw them when they don't look:)
@Klaproos: it may seem incredible but you get used to the metro's clattering, scuttling and swaying...
