This one is just gorgeous. They all are but this one....makes me feel dreamy. Invites inspiration and reflection. Which one will you give your friend???

Suki, I saw the moon the other morning when I went for my walk very early and a colour like that on the sky, that was my inspiration for the poppies...
My friend told me that she liked the first two very well, and the size suits her very well cause she doesn't have much place, but she wanted to see them in "real" first:)

Ohhh, I can see why you had more poppy paintings in you, Sweet Andrea! I love, love, love this one! It is wonderful. The color combination is fantastic!

Andrea! I do hope you continue to paint these beautiful flowers! You have clearly studied them closely and have their gifts down to share.

Beautiful, Beautiful!

Kim, thanks and oh, I'm feeling the same when I look at this painting, and I think really these flowers are my muse at the moment:)

Oh Andrea.. You are on a roll with these wonderful paintings of poppies. This is a beautiful painting all soft and dreamy, like Suki said. WOW!!!!

Ohhh, and how we benefit from that! Poppies are your moment's muse! Now that is interesting to contemplate...do we have layers of muses?

Thanks Andrea!

Lovely feeling to this painting Andrea. Like it's the early early part of morning before the sun fully rises. Will these poppies of yours make it to fabric do you think?

Did I reply to your kind emails? Probably not, for which I apologise... a bit on overload again!

I enjoy your blog everyday in my inbox, (via FeedBlitz - what a godsend!). The view is delightful as always.
Hugs and sunshine to you, E

Kim, well I don't know, I haven't really thought about, but felt that the muse was what inspired me in a very special moment, when a "singing" painting comes out of my brush, so I project the idea of muse onto the object or person I paint...

Lynn I don't know if these poppies will make in onto fabric, as at the moment I only work for the exhibition, I will see what is left afterwards, perhaps I'll do a textile design from this...
thanks so much for your lovely comments, and yes, I want to paint Californian poppy too:)

Martine, I love the poppies too, and I have a feeling as if lots of people need this kind of colour right now!
I have been to the coiffeur today (which makes me extremely happy and serene:)and had no time to finish the next poppies, tomorrow hopefully:)

Babs, thanks and yeah, I'll bring'em on:) Today I managed only the background of the 6th painting, and it will take some time, but sometimes I surprise myself with patience (would never have been possible when I was younger:)

Corryna, thanks for this comment which means a lot to me, I love the idea that I can actually touch people with this and mostly it works when I'm touched first and know it. It is so great to share this.
