Notebook Page - Earring Mask (or: Earth)

Here another glimps into my notebook, for you. I have to finish this piece, which is lying under the bed, by Nov. 2nd. The sketch (and showing it to you) helps me to re-connected with the project which has been sleeping for months. New ideas for the finishing emerge...

Andrea, peeking into your notebook IS very awakening. I think it is encouraging to review some of our ideas from time to time. With your wonderful notebooks, you are very good at this. Also, in sharing them here, you encourage me to do more with keeping notes about ideas. I have such notebooks for design work, but I have not made that transition for art very well. I need to do better with this idea.

I love these masks you have done. They give so much depth, yet remain simple in their own way. I believe your detailed notes, research and exploration help bring that very difficult achievement.

I really love your beautiful notebooks and am grateful for your encouragement!

Thanks Andrea!

Are those world globes for earrings? I like this and that it slept for a while while you thought more about it.
I also find it interesting that some of your notes in your notebook are in English and not German or French. You must be very comfortable being multi liguistic.

So pretty. I love the colors! I keep little books of things I see and think of that I want to make in glass, also. I find it helps to let projects rest a while, then come back to them later. Like gestation. Good luck.

I love the piece and the showing/explaining of the process. Art is a Journey through life of seeing, showing and imparting wisdom to those with eyes that can hear. You do it so well.
enjoy pjc

Dear all friends:) thank you for your comments, I love to read them and to reflect on them a little, and to give more detailed answers while time is tugging at my sleeve, but I don't care:), it is so rewarding to have artist friends and communicate with them every day, thanks progress (well, sort of)
Have a great time
