Notebook: "DO YOU REMEMBER SUMMER?"

Thank you for your sweet and funny comments about the cows:) I apologize for not commenting any comments at the moment, as there is so little time.

The last couple of days I have clip-framed Metrohead Prints (after writing little stories under each image), and Miss Doodle prints for the exhibition, and yesterday I made three paintings for the children's book I told you about not long ago.

It is Monday and the sky is grey. Which is why, this morning, I grabbed my watercolour and notebook and dived into colour...enjoying free composing with water, pigment, brush and souvenirs from summers by the sea.

This is called: "DO YOU REMEMBER SUMMER?"

this is so lovely and evocative. Your painting style is free and the colors warm. I wish I was there enjoying the sea

I could easily recognize your style - your signature - your soul in your paintings Andrea.
I like what Suki said - "evocative" - yes, evocative.

Ah nothing brightens up a day more then color. I am looking out at a gray foggy day but my liquid Amber tree is in bright fall colors and it cheers me up.
Wonderful use of color here. I feel summer. :))

This reminds me of the beach at Bodega Bay in CA. The rocks with flowers growing out of them...succulents in bright reds and oranges, purples...and the ocean behind. Yes, I remember summer and am now looking forward to fall. I love this fall season best.
You do sound busy and very productive too, Andrea. Thanks for coming by my site today and commenting. Hugs.

Beautifully abstracted summer thoughts!
"Do you remember,,,,"
I like that as a title series.

Oh Andrea,

You should do something large similar to this! I really love it so much...the whole thing! All of it! The colors, the lines, the composition...everything! I really love the feeling it shares and think the title is great fun! Make it big...did I say how much I love it?

Thanks so very much!
