How exciting!!! it could possibly be a girl dragon then again it could possibly a boy dragon, also it could be a neutral little dragon that developes sexual characteristics at a later date, do you think it could eat those metro hairy monsters!!!
Mike, :):) I think it is a neutral little dragon, and we'll see later to which camp it will belong:) And oh, I haven't thought of it as a Metrobold-eater.Now that I think of it, I guess it's a Metroboldeater-Dragon...I'll take it with me on my daily trips. In a bag, otherwise I don't have the right to take pets with me... Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
no it's definitely a gril, look at those eyes.and it's affectionate, sweet natured and loves kids. i would call her snookie-pie. yes i would, but then i am all mushy since my gd was born....
This baby is absolutely adorable! I instantly thought girl, but maybe neutral is better for now. I have a playful muse in my head being hatched (you know a child muse) while the mama dragon (the adult muse) deals with the more serious issues. So the muse in my head translated to girl...stupid, really...because a boy muse could be super interesting. :)
I just think the colors and the gentleness of this baby is rendered beautifully, Andrea. Now what an exciting time for all of us to watch!
Hugs to you and your dragons of all sizes. What about the other egg?
Kim, I thought about that this morning, female or male muse and thought that, at the moment, I'd like to have a female muse:) So...I'm tending to female here too.
You make me laugh with your question cause I knew someone would aks for that other egg!!! (I brace myself for the question, thinking about what may hatch from THAT one!) Well, this egg needs more time still:) love and hugs Andrea
Artist unplugged:) thank you ! Oh how I love these reflections on little dragon:) I don't know, I think the first flame comes later, it comes at the age of puberty....
Andrea, since that other egg is so large, I am thinking it may be something totally unexpected, but very colorful...if the outside of the egg is any indication!
Hi Andrea! I've just stepped over from Kim's blog. It's been a while since I last visited and I've missed your beautiful painting! I'm in love with watercolour too, I definitely won't stay away so long this time!Jess.x
Jessie, thanks so much for your comment, and for me it's the same, so I'm happy to see your comment here and then will be heading off to your blog to have a look at what you are up to at the moment...
Aimee, so you too think she's girl... Well I'm so curious now, but will have to wait until this little dragon reveils it's true identity:) It looks girlish, though, somehow...:)

I sort of thought boy, but neutral until he/she grows a bit sounds good too. he/she is so cute.

Cestandrea - thanks for the comments on my site - i think colour is important for both of us ?
I have put your blog on my UK/Global blog-roll with "thumbnail" - if you fancy doing the same for me that would be really cool
Steve (My Dog Ate Art)
Gosh, I'm not sure, is it fire-breathing? Does it have it's first flame yet? Nicely done.
Andrea I think it is more of a 'Ubermetrobogeyeaterdragonismusszeit' What do you think?

Monica, thanks for visiting, I think most of us think she's a girl but we simply don't know yet...:)
Kim, I'm getting closer to what inhabits the other, bigger egg;)
I think it's a "Geist", a genius, a muse, inspiration in form of ....?
Lynn, Mazel Tob:) What a wonderful idea, dragon booties! Those will suit him/her well:)
PS I MEANT MAZEL TOV !
Babs hi, thanks so much for your comment, ...hhmmm, perhaps you are right, perhaps it holds twins...

Jessie, thanks so much for your comment, and for me it's the same, so I'm happy to see your comment here and then will be heading off to your blog to have a look at what you are up to at the moment...
Choule:) non je suis du signe du coq; mais le coq s'entend à merveille avec le dragon...
Genie, thanks yes the hatching was so much fun:) Have a great weekend, you too, I hope without snow,
Martine, I turned it around and around but you won't see anything yet...We'll have to wait:)
Aimee, so you too think she's girl... Well I'm so curious now, but will have to wait until this little dragon reveils it's true identity:)
It looks girlish, though, somehow...:)
I love the green eye! I would say dragon meets dogs meets my cat!
oh wow, this is fantastic. I like your style :)
Marion:) yes it looks like a mixture of the three, I agree, perhaps it's cause I know dogs and cats so well, but dragons less:)
