SOUL KYTES - Oneline-Doodlemasks, AEM, Day 5, Nov. 5th

These look like bizarre kytes, which bring to my mind that I still have to go into the subject of the soul kytes. So many tracks to follow....! Colour and Faces, one line only, with some hatching added afterwards to give mysterious shadow:)

I like the one line doodle idea. I'll have to try some. Are soul kytes something you made up? I mean the word for them?

You HAVE to make a soul kite! Or a whole series of them. What a brilliant idea!

Hello my friends, nice to be back and read you comments again!
Syki, the soul kytes: the word came to my mind, when I was painting shapes looking like kytes ,it was one of my first posts. They looked like they were going up vertically, off to another place, world, time..:)

Suki, (not Syki, I'm smiling here:) in fact kytes is a spelling error! In the beginning I called them soulkites and then yesterday the y slipped in. Guess I better like the i,
have a splendid day

Hi Andrea,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your drawings and masks. Joey and I are both Aries as well. When is your birthday? I will come back & look at your work more tomorrow when I am at work with a high speed connection. I have dial up here & it's very frustrating waiting for things to load! Carry on!

These also look like things I could easily free style sew onto a quilt. Hummmmmmmmmm. Love all the shapes. Y in Kytes? Hey, I just thought you spelled like me.

NO no don't change the spelling back to the "correct" spelling. I love kytes. Fabulous.

Andrea, I spent some time hanging out at your blog today--love your work. And You have those Cocoon spirit masks/pieces---they look very much like some paintings I have done. I will post them on my blog so you can see what I am refering to.
