Fragments 6 and 7 - Poppies

Sitting here with my friend, the electric fan....it's sizzling hot in Paris, girls in their summer dresses, boys in shorts, this morning I tried a new technique with oilpastels on brown bark paper. The opaque pastels cover the paper completely, but I left a border so that there the beautiful structure of the bark paper can be seen. I'll show you a picture of that as soon as it's finished. It's 50 x 60 cm, and needs TIME. Have a wonderful day, wherever you may be, whatever weather you may be in....
