Good Day from Paris and the Iron Lady

©estandrea 2009

Hello hello, I'm preparing the "100 views of the Eiffeltower"....
no, that's a joke, but wait, why not?:)

But I thought the Iron Lady would be the perfect thing to start my new project. You know....new blog, new website....

I'm working on both, and have fun to imagine what could interest you in Paris. I better not start a survey cause I wouldn't be up to the task. So you will have to do with what I'll give you, tee hee. And it starts here with LA TOUR EIFFEL. I will transfer everything to a Wordpress blog in due time, but for now, we'll stay here, cozy and warm, don't worry too soon:):)

By the way, today is Guitar-Day, I LOVE IT
Have a wonderful Day, !

Andrea

Andrea, I LOVE THIS. I love your soft colors of Paris. I look forward to more and more of Paris seen thru Andreas eyes. I take it the Guitar Day is lessons? I have a guitar but havent played it in years. I loved playing it too.

a beautiful painting. i had not idea about guitar day. Oh as Cris suggests perhaps it is lessons? Good for you. I need to perk up my life somehow, learn something new or something.

Hi Cris and Suki, thanks for your comments on ET:) and yes, it's guitar lessons, I used to play a lot when I was very young, then from time to time I played a bit but always wanted to take lessons to get that rythm, the time has come, I have been taking lessons for 2 months (holidays not included), one hour a week, and am practising each day, it's awsome to feel the progress. I like the energy of the guitarteacher, but you can also find good instructions on the internet, so if you have a guitar lying around, go for it:) I'm jazzed:) love, Andrea

Love the painting...but then I always love all your paintings. Fun to follow the ET story.

Have fun on guitar. What kind of music are you playing and do you also sing along?

Lynn, I play things like "bobby mc gee" and also Johnny Cash songs, I LOVE the things he has done late in his live, like the song ONE which is originally a U2 song.

Kim, I hope I'll be able to paint more of Paris in this style, I haven't painted much landscape like this, and really enjoy the process very much. It's kind of rewarding...

Andrea,
Greetings from the Ozarks to Paris-
Are you still on the Daily Painters Abstract Blog?
Haven't seen you in a while. Just wondering?

I would love to see an impression on the small Statue of Liberty in the river - always one of my favorites - as I am from NYC. That would be awesome to see in your lovely painting way
